An Ohio man was pulled over during a stop was also a ccw, he tried to tell the cop that he was carrying a handgun but was told every time to stfu. It only escalates when the cop found out himself. The dash cam shows one of the cops threatning to kill the person with the ccw.

Thanks OminiV. I read the follow-up also, he's had a few reprimands and is probably (my opinion) going to be at a desk job instead. He's got a temper problem and also doesn't follow dept. protocol for traffic stops. Did a good job of scaring the guy, but for the wrong reason.

I think Officer #2 needs to get a backbone and a sense of professional ethics.
I get the notion he was intimidated by the actions of his wacked out partner.

This cop has a real problem that should have been addressed before this event. I highly suspect that this is not the only incident by his actions. Something has happened that we are not privy to and this guy is acting like he has a major case of PTSD.

WOW!!!! I watched it and all I can say is WOW! Both officers SCREWED UP ROYALLY!!! Left an "unsecured person" in the vehicle and began a search of said vehicle which left BOTH OF THEM unaware of their surroundings... DOH!!!! And when they realized this guy was "armed" regardless of being legal or not it was at that moment in time they BOTH REALIZED HOW BADLY THEY SCREWED UP! And thusly PTSD officer goes caveman on the guy.
Officer number two... he needs to go through the academy another time as he CLEARLY was also a participant and FAILED to be a voice of reason when the other officer began his little "show." To many officers come out of the academies with full of "pi$$ and vinegar and ready to take on the world and the badge they wear only seems to be a scource of fuel for them.
SAD! This is part of the reason I LOATH the term LAW ENOFORCEMENT! NO you are a "peace officer!" A keeper of the PEACE by way of enforcing the of the law of the land, not the other way around. Sorry if this taken wrongly but I get ticked off when I see this kind of abuse of authority. And this is only one instance... how many others are there out there we hear nothing of........ Hmm? Now that I think of it I seem to be hearing something about some very popular Football coaches "dancing" around some pretty nasty things lately. HMM???

Good post, Arron. That event was ridiculously full of FAIL in so many respects.

I cannot imagine a tougher job outside wartime service, and I know I would be a tremendous failure as a LEO, I would do serious damage to the first child abuser, wife beater, animal abuser, etc, etc.
I have great respect for the vast majority of our Leo's, but in this case the dismissal was justified that went well beyond just having a bad day.
