Last few winters have been tough on our sharptail popuplations. With lots of leg work and a good dog we are still finding a few. They are one of my favorite birds to hunt. Smile

Good catch, I don't see many here in the southern part of the state, but up in N.E. Iowa there are quite a few. Grouse is one of the best tasting birds to me and hopefully we will see their population grow.

Gona be hard to match yer pics and epic settings man...but I'll giver a go for sure.

My ol' stomping grounds are being encroached upon so...stuff's getting squeezed out. Gettin' hard to find stuff out here in LaLa land that's semi-local and I'm scared I'll have to find some new spot soon and you know how that goes not a lot of fun but...we'll keep atter!
