Sorry- beena nutty year.
Did some reserach and found the gun I ordered is/might not be stainless, rather, a nickel/spray coating of some sort....Davidsons advertised it as stainless. IThe scope's coming off and going on my .22 too so..

Davidsons describe's it as: Marine Coat Stainless Steel. I'm pretty sure is not stailness, stainless don't need a coating and I ccould not find any SS guns on the Mossberg site.. Aint a deal breaker. If I don't like it when it comes it goes back, no charge to me. Davidson's is easy to work with. I am gonna call them on it though...

After I get the scope I want I might add one of these to make off-hand more fun and dress it up a bit... not bad for $139 and he's local. Heck, this shooter is gonna be all American made!

Couple hundred rounds.... Right. Pass.
Least mine has a pad and a brake, unlike Buffy the BC Bruiser...if'n I didn't have so many issues going on here I'da bought one of those too and it is on my short list for sure. No collection is complete w/o a 45-70 Govt.
Some forms of self-abuse are fun.

better correct that immediatly in "w/o a 45/70 Govt and a .375 H&H".
And once you have them you can start thinking about the .338 LM or straight on to the .50 BMG.
Now who puts a brake on a .300 WM??? I even have been driving my Land Rover several years without brakes

2010 Mossberg 4x4, 300 Win Mag. aka: "El Kabong"
Features:
Sculpted lami stock, nice thin wrist, nice cheek rest/swell too
24" floated, fluted barrel w/ brake.
Marinecoat satin nickel fish, nice color and looks great
LBA adjustable mil-spec trigger down to 2#.
2 position safety.
Detachable poly mag box with recessed latch (nice when they call cease fire on the line, drop mag, pull bolt back, gun's empty)
Push-feed, plunger type brass flinger, knurled bolt.
Big, fat butt pad!
Generic 3-9x40 scope- goes straight on my .22LR as that poor thing's scope is done and dead.
Factory Weaver bases
Weight: 8.5# before, 9.5# after
Lentgh: 44"
Made in: USA
$550.00 out the door, ready to shoot (sort of)
Mods done:
Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x40 Tactical scope- fit it factory rings.
Harris BRM (w/ notches) Bipod
Notes- finish is a matte nickel coating. Nice color. Bolt has a lot of slop at the rear of stroke. Take up = 1/4" or less. Pad's pretty firm, might be a good thing, or not. Decent machine work, looks nice and clean. Includes a thread protector in case one want's to remove brake.
Got a ton of pics but can't load 'em here....
