Aaron was actually nice enough to email first and asking permission before posting his site, very considerate of him. I wish him the best of luck on his site and hope anyone that suffers theft of a firearm, that it gets tracked down, returned and the thief caught and prosecuted!

I'll try to post this on Police Link so that it has nation wide law enforcement exposure. Good luck finding the scum that stole it.

Very good idea. Maybe you could get it posted as a regular advertisement on gun sites. It's nice to know there is a place to go to try and do something to recover guns.
I'll send it to my contacts and show it to the gun shops in the area.
Welcome to HuntingNut!!!!
Hey Vince where's the beer??

Aaron,
First of all, you may want to narrow the area of interest.
So, what country are you in?
What part of the country?
Could you describe the gun further?
I know you do place a video link in your first post, however, some member and visitors may be on slow net.
It may take hours to get the data through.
just my 2c.
I hope you will recover the gun

gelandangan- I have thought about the slow net issue but really what can I do. If I'm looking for a way to draw maximum attention to my rifle the vid thing is hard to beat. I feel like gun traders who have no internet at all will be hearing about this vid.
I'm not for sure what other details you would be interested in as far as description goes, if you have any specifics please ask.
I am from Leitchfield, Ky. I probably should have posted that in the vid although most people probably see it posted on the site. The only thing I do disagree with is the "narrow my search". I beat every bush, posted fliers on telephone polls, ran an add in my local paper for a month with info on my gun, physically walked into every gun and pawn shop within 50 miles of me and then some. Not to mention the phone calls I made to local gun traders. When you have a gun stolen your instinct is to let the whole world know the gun is hot. Trust me, emailing this link out to every gun and pawn I can find an email for and posting in forums that are nice enough to let me such as this one is much easier an more efficient than anything else. My rifle was stolen in Nov.of '08 and all jokes aside it could very well be in California by now, who knows.............
Thanks for the comment,
Aaron
