My moultrie digital game camera was stolen a few days ago. I've had the camera for about a year. I built a angle iron cage with a heavy chain welded to it so I could padlock it to a tree. Well, the place I'm hunting this year was clear cut 5 years ago and there wasnt any trees big enough to attach. So I took a 4x4 and cemented it almost 4 ft in the ground. The SOB couldnt get it off the 4x4 so he dug up the 4x4 and stole the whole thing. Good thing i didnt catch him. Mad OK, I feel better now.

Awww look at it this way....It is a good time to upgrade your game cam. Now you can spend really big bucks on a camera that will upload game photos to a satellite then download them to your computer, cellphone, or blackberry. Only costs a few hundred for the camera then a bunch more for the monthly cell account. You know ya just got to have one and now you can get a satellite tracker to track the camera when its stolen. It is only money and ya know we hunters just have to have the latest technology available.

Sorry that you are a victim though. It is a terrible feeling! Rest assured that the thief will get his due sometime down the road.

That's a real bugger DS. Sit back and rest assured mate, that even though he may have gotten away with it this time, it will catch up with him sooner or later. As my Dad used to say..."All smart hens poop in their nest sooner or later."

As Popgun said...a good opportunity to upgrade mate.

Cheers, Vince

Just a trespasser that got his picture taken, then... didn't want to get caught. Give it awhile... bet you get him....
