Hi all, Very Happy

I have been going to the shooting range to shoot clays with my shotgun, and it's quite a lot of money. $44 per 100 clays. If you do you the math, it will be a lot of money down the road.

I have a question for people who live in Southern California. I am wondering if there's a place outdoor where I can use my own equipment to throw the clay and shoot it without going to the shooting range, the desert or something?

Anyone has information, please advice. Thank you in advance.

Gidday WishStar99, how are you mate?

Don't know anything about California, but out here in Australia most gunshops carry clay throwers of all different types from the small plastic hand held thrower that the missus can use, to the all singing, all dancing, you beaut electric throwers that cost an arm and a leg and then some. A box of clays out here runs to about $30 for 100. There is bound to be a farmer who would allow you to shoot clays on his land if you clean up after yourself.

Gun Clubs that shoot Trap and Skeet usually charge about $7 a round which is not too bad. That way you shoot what what you can afford.

Good luck mate.

Cheers, Vince
