Aah Darnies. That, Stovey, is the press that I have broke two of. One I bought and one given to me. Yup...You guessed it. Resizing .30-06 cases. My Classic Cast (iron) single stage press does a fantastic job. As well as the Classic cast (iron) turret.

I started (25 years ago) with that Lee Reloader ("C") Press. It worked great on handgun brass and .30-30 cases, but .30-06 was just too much for it.

Well- there a have it, Mr. Bushy Broadshoulders, snappen them presses. (hint- when the die bottoms, STOP Laughing ).
I'd spend 5$ more for the Challenger press I posted if yer gonna f/l size.

Why ya'd wanna f/l size a perfectly good fire-formed rifle case I'll never know.... Bomb Shiner Whip

When you have a "hunting" rifle that is punchin' 1 5/8" three shot groups at 200 yards. I fugure...Why mess with it. So I continue to full length size my brass.

The first one "snapped" on the way down and the second one gave up on the way up. Go figure.

Bushmaster is right, nothing wrong with the Lee "O" presses. Very serviceable and worth the money.

Wiersy: Save this link for when you get your LoadMaster. They are great presses and work quite well, but the instructions are sometimes a bit vague. The people that do these make life a lot easier on set-up!

Thanks SSL that is actually where I bought my Lee LM, there is a ton of great info on Lee equipment there.

Well I am finally back in business. I got the Load Master purring like a kitten, now I need to lube and size more boolits so I can give it a real work out. It's a good thing this winter was long so I could pour a whole lot of boolits.

I Built a new reloading bench, I wanted one stout but one that did not take up as much room as I don't have a lot of room to spare and we may end up moving to a smaller house and if so I need all the room I can get. This thing is build strong and if I get the stuff built for a quick release mounting plate for my presses as well as accessories I will not need much space. I also can reload with my brother with this setup as is sits fairly easily. When we get a place that we are buying then I will setup a larger more perminent setup.

A lot of the guys I know have decked out their man cave with comfy furniture, big screen TV's, wet bars, and audio equipment. I just decided that my man cave would be dedicated to casting and reloading. Everyone that enters my cave is amazed that I am able to produce my own boolits and load my own ammo. Once I open the doors of the base cabinets to show then all the ammo they drool.
