Like Bushy and Paul, I have a PACT Model 1. I bought the PACT chrony after using the PACT shot timers for years in IPSC matches. I would get the Pro Model PACT. I like the interface feature and the fact that the expensive part is on the bench, behind the muzzle. In 20 years no problem with my mdl 1 except a wind gust as noted in a prior post.

The reason for getting another is that the Oehler is a pain to set up and power. The Pact is easy because it is battery powered, the electronics are on the bench with you and it gives you all the important data with the push of a button. I want the third one so I can proof my shots and once in a while test the BC info that the manuals have in them. Listed BCs seem to work but once in a while - especially with pistol bullets the drop doesn't match the projected trajectory. To tell the truth I ought to junk that old Oehler, it has collected more dust in the last twenty years than bullet velocities. She is old and might not even work after sitting for so long.
