If you use the high-velocity ammo, you might consider using a poly bolt stop in the back of the receiver. I've been meaning to get one.

I have found that cci minimags seem to function flawlessly in my 10-22s,the stingers have varied results,the american eagle federals seem to have the most consistant velocities over my chronograph,minimags have higher velocity-but not as consistant.I use the federal bulk packs(from bi-mart) for cheap plinking stuff-and it has lower velocity than the other two mentioned and not very consistant velocities! Confused

I found that american eagle ammo is very dirty and I have to clean my guns much more often. Other then that I hav e had good results with it.
