Elvis,
Well he got away with it.
He must be thicker skinned than Bushy.
Either that or everone else thought it was an "improvement"

Plus, it took us a long time to get used to the change in chambered221 avatar. I can't image if we would every recover if you changed yours.

Thanks everyone, I am passing on the good cheer to all involved.
I'll try to get a 4 generation foto on the board but it may be a bit before that happens. My avatar is only about 5 years old - Maybe I should up date it?
Thanks again - Oh, I was 25 when my first was born. That was 38 years ago. It's obviously enough time for the third generation to be born - but it is fast.

PaulS,
Congradulations on the new generational addition. Enjoy while you can, they grow up sooooo fast.
I grew up on a farm in Southeastern Idaho and we started very early shooting and hunting. It is never too early. I purchased NRA Life Mememberships for all my grandkids shortly after they entered this world. My youngest just turned 4 and he has already shot my .22 hornet and my crossbow from my lap. My oldest began shooting by himself at seven, now he hunts by himself (senior in high school). My granddaughter enjoys shooting when we, as a family, go to the local range; I suspect she will start shooting by herself soon.

I have a 15 year old grand daughter that that competes against me in small bore silhouette and shoots trap too!
I am betting her first date will be at the range.
