Just cut 1 1/2" off the regular stock so the trigger pull length is shorter and re-install the butt-plate. You should end up with a trigger pull length of 11 1/2" to 12" for a youth stock.

Yeah, thats what I'll probably do, But that doesn't really solve the grip position for short trigger fingers. On the bright side though, I've always wanted a fullstock Mini-mauser and when he "outgrows" this one I'll have a good excuse to do just that.
