Maybe Vince but I have seen that happen after a deep clean and it usually was because I had re -exposed any roughness in the bore and it took a few shots to lay down a little copper over those spots ... |

You may need to turn down the necks if they are too thick now. After you put a bullet in the mouth it will really stick in the chamber. I don’t have that tool in my kit but it sound like that may b ... |

CCI standard is available in many places now as low as $60 a brick. It shoots as well as the SK and Wolf Target in my rimfire target rifles. Give that a try and see if the group dials in better. I ... |

Slim- I had a fat finger in my first post. I am running 2770 fps with the ELD at 27.9 gr. 100fps /gr is more reasonable.... |

For lighter bullets I have found 26.5 -27.”gr W748 with a 52 or 53 gr bullet shoots sub moa in about any AR I shoot it in. OAL of 2.240”. With Varget fill up the car with 27.0-27.2gr.

Brass is a consumable expense of reloading. It does not last forever. work hardening will cause the splits and annealing can give you extra life from brass but eventually primer pockets get loose neck ... |
