Exellent!
My wife chooses not to hunt but at least she comes along and helps glass for deer/elk. She also helps with the field dressing (now thats love!).

I only put for cow and did not get drawn; did not get drawn for deer either. Looks like I can do an extra p-dog trip this year and maybe some coyote calling and squirrels, rabbits and quail....I feel ...

The 6.5 x 55 Swede is a great cartridge, but you may find it much easier locating a .260 Rem. Either will deliver a 120, 140 or 160 bullet out to 300-350 yds with authority. also, you can even get bul ...

A friend hunted SW of Chama, NM a few years ago and he saw lots of elk and took a fine bull. I believe it was a private land hunt.

Another place you might wish to look and is only a little longer d ...

I am a huge fan of the Bushnell Elite scopes (new and old ones). Their Rainguard permanent coating prevents the outside lens from fogging up from your own breath and if it's raining it disperses the d ...

In January (yes Jan.) of 2010 I did a cow elk hunt west of Trinidad, CO, guided on private property and was happy with the outfitter, lodgings and the big cow elk I took home. There is public land in ...

Like the other men, I suggest using the bullet your rifle shoots best, and a .308 Win with 165 can take a 300 yd pronghorn-if you can hold steady enough. so, enjoy the hunt and know that you already h ...

Anybody know much about the T/C R-55 rimfire? I would liek an accurate and very reliable semiauto but not the Marlin 60. I know the Ruger 10/22 is reliable but needs a number of upgrades to make it a ...

My friend has a Mod 88 in .308, the action is smooth, but he does not like to shoot it, the recoil is rather sharp even with 150 gr. loads. I have fired it a few times and I think it too has more felt ...

Both appear to be good rounds ballistically with the Ruger having about 380 FPS more at the muzzle (using a Hornady 200 gr superformance and 200 gr Leverevolution)). The RCM is more comparable to the ...
