Last weekend my oldest daughter and I went to a Civil War reenactment. I started reenacting in 1981 but dropped out a few years ago due to work restraints. Since the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War will start in 2011 I think I'll try to get back in to it. I did all the major 125th anniversary events so I think it would be neat to do them again 25 years later.

Here is a good picture my daughter got during the "battle".



And here is proof that even back then they were thinking about how to help people that shoot like I do!

Slightly different powder charges in that volley gun at longer ranges would give you a nice spread on the ground to hit a large group of enemy troops.
