1) Ruger 10/22
2) S&W 1500 30-06
3) Marlin 1895 45-70
That covers pretty much all critter small to large 4 legged and even 2 leggers.

Remington 22 LR
03A3 (sporterized and scoped) in 30-06 (Remington)
Remington 700 custom 358 Winchester
Those are my favorite rifles
add to that my favorite hand guns and shotguns and I can kill anything that walks or flies in the American continents.

That's easy...Go back to my photo and have a look at the middle rifle. .30WCF at 60 years old is still my dream gun...Usable as a jack handle too...

Heh- I've used that term to desbribe them straight-stocked units and I get looks back like..."huh?"
Not a fan of Monte Carlo stocked lever actions for some reason. They look too "sporterized'ish" to me.
That ol' girl of yours sure is a looker, Mr. Bush. I'm sure you two have some stories....

Can't be done with only three. However, my first three would be:
M1 Garand .30-06
FN Mauser in .280 Remington
Remington Model 581 .22 l.r.
All the best...
Gil

Shooting is kinda like golf. You can't play the whole game effectively with just one club. With just a wood, an iron and a putter it becomes a little easier but still isn't much fun.

That would be my exact answer - 10 years ago, when they are allowed here..
