Just came home from Mass Glockman.
Our Priest gave a pretty good Homily, but I think that you would have given a much better one with what you just posted.

Thanks for the inspiration.

No offense to anyone but i am glad i was brought up in a Christian family!
I think it made me a better person!
I thank my parents for their hard work and constant love and patience.

I think some people confuse the word evolution for advancement. People have advanced over the years, via the use of technology (could be a Caterpilar dozer vs. a shovel or the computers) because of the inventors, engineers, etc...

I believe that GOD created the heavens and the earth.

As for Bushy's remark, maybe that will be the first question to ask Him when I get to heaven.

I agree with u, my dad tells me to ask questions but to never doubt whats in the Bible.

Do I really need to explain this one ?? Shocked

Its the same now as it was then, God just has to snap his fingers. Very Happy

Everyone else has to use a method I best not describe here, as its very far from PG-13. Shocked

I think I've seen some examples of evolution reversing itself, does that count? (oh whoops, those are the people that work for me, never mind)

I know the speed of light is real fast cuz it whips right past your eyes...man, makes me blink sometimes.

I'm glad to find out that Bushy still does arithmetic the same way I do, the pencil and paper crowd is really thining out partner.

My belief is that God, by whatever name you want to call him, is an omnipotent all-powerful being so...mysteries of the Universe are apparently none of my business and if He doesn't want to share them with me, well..who's gonna make Him?

How do they get information onto an electron so they can stamp it onto a silicone chip so we can do what we take for granted every day...telephones, faxes computers.....

Mate....is that what makes me blink all the time when I go out in the sun...well I'll be buggered, never thought of that.

Hey....I'm another one that has a pencil and paper. I'd be lost without it sometimes.

"How do they get information onto an electron"
...mate, its easy... you tap the keys on the keyboard and then there are some little doodywackers running around inside your 'puter that get wacked on the head by your key stroke....they then know what letter or character you tapped....they race off down the little itty bitty tracks on the circuit board, scarper down into the ultra itty bitty tiny tracks carved into the silicon chip, identify the correct place to put your character, then they write it in using an erasable grease pencil. They then yell out to their mates and more doodywackers come a runnin'....read the letter/character from the silicon chip that their mate left there...erase it, then fart off into the dorest...no, sorry, dart off into the forest, of itty bitty tracks on anuvver part of the circuit board...they yell out to more doodywackers.... more talented ones these guys, and they then put whole lot together.... decide which machine you want to use. These smarter guys yell out... in a different language of course... to the AMP Ants that, along with the Volt Bugs, run up and down the wires delivering stuff to ovver machines....they give them the story, along wiv the correct address, and tell them to get moving and deliver the message, whatever it may be. They deliver the message to more doodywackers at the other end...the ones that look after the uvver machine and tell them what they have to do. These new guys pass it onto the real high tech doodywackers who do the "high tech, make it work" stuff, and they make things happen like ... make a phone ring (more doody wackers wiv hard hats who head butt the bell), tell the Ink Spittin' Critters (they got an inbuilt ink sack like an octopus) in the printer what to print, make the Fax Writing grubs print a fax (wiv their special inbuilt alcohol injectors - thats why a fax is always a bit wonky...drunk grubs), or just smack different dumb doodywackers, who crawl around inside the monitor, so they all line up the right way on the screen so you can read it. Its all pretty simple if you think about it mate.

I must admit that I didn't learn multiplication or division as well as I can do it now (which by the way isn't all that good) at all up untill a few years ago WAY past the time they force you to learn it in school.

So you know how I got 4 * 4 in school ?? Razz

Paper and pencil ... 4 + 4 = 8 so 8 + 8 = 16 ... on the side of each and every question.

Laughing
