New Toy "Update"

My new weapon of choice for deer, chucks and coyotes. It is an M.O.A. maximum in 6.5 x 47 lapua with a vortex viper 6.5 x 20 x 44 scope.

Here are the first groups I shot with this gun. At 100yds with no tweaking yet, not bad and I am quite sure we can do better.

Now that is a toy and a half, flyinlizard! What bullets do you use and what velocities are you achieving?

Just getting started with load dev. Hope to find something that works with a 95 gr v-max for chucks and coyotes and for deer it will be something between 120 and 130 grs. As for velocities I have heard of guys getting 2600 to 2700 fps with 120 or 130s , as for the 95 s don't have a clue yet. as soon as the rain stops I will be chronographing during load dev.

EDIT: Great groups, nice shooting. That looks like the most fun ever. Just love a tack-driving handgun.
