#1: "Boomer"....still the bomb....(D&T's Ruger Supreme Hunter) Author: stovepipe, Location: Pine, Az.Posted: Mon Nov 21, 2016 9:20 am ---- Took ol' "Boomer" out for a run yesterday, shooting prone from the back of the truck.....14+ gr of 800X under a random 200gr JHP ...still hit's egg's at 100y when I do my part. I've even wont bets on that one! With a good 240gr + bullet it groups very well. This gun has been around for a long time now, Dave (Deer Sniper) @ D&T makes a super pistol. I found this site because of him. I still love shooting this pistol. It's a treat! Only change I've made was putting the factory Rosewood grip panels back on....I never warmed up to the Hogue.
See if you can find the target!

I just wish I had a wheel gun to display mate.
Hitting an egg at 100 yards with a pistol is no mean feat Stovey...it's testament to the quality of the build by Dave and your skills as a trigger man mate. Well done. As Elvis said, I'd be happy doing that with a rifle.

My pistol boomer is a 357 Maximum - 357 magnums bigger brother and the rifle boomer is a 358 Winchester on a Remington 700 action. I need to get them both out to the range to let them play...
