Ya gotta stop posting these videos. I get a tear every time I see one.

My father was on an AKA Troop transport ship and dropped off Marines and Army dudes on various islands from the Philippians to Tokyo Bay. When he wasn't cooking meals he was manning a twin 20mm fighting off Kamikazes.

Same feelings here BUSHMASTER , my Dad made 3-landings in New Guinea,US army ,also on a transport ship on the way to Japan when they got the news that the war was over. . He never talked much about until my brother and I both were in the service ,'69-'70.
