I'd like to know what wheeled (not self propelled!) game carriers folks have tried and how they like them. I'm talking about the fold-up types you use to transport game back to the vehicle.

Thanks!

My buddy's got one I'm not sure of the brand it's got pretty big tires on it , bicycle tires I think. If your not on a trail two people is better, trying to get over logs is tough by yourself. If you have a nice trail to go down there pretty nice though.

Never used a wheeled trolley to take game out...always been fairly close to a track where we can get a 4WD in.

Back in my Army days we had a guy make a trolley to carry the 84mm Carl Gustav and ammo...called it Dolly's Trolley...worked real well. Basically a cage made out of arcmesh with a draw bar and wheels added.

Only time I've ever had need for an animal carrier was when I took the cat to the vet to be spayed. Used something similar to the one below.

They have several types - big wheeled, fold up and lightweight. In the mountains of Idaho we use mules. Now days they are using 4WD and the big wheel carts that fold up.

I guess it is your choice, I perfer the mule.

Naw...A mule is good lookin' compared to Vince...

To tell the truth. A mule or horse have less impact on the environment then ATVs...Or at least the "operators" of ATVs...

Cool Horses/burros/donkeys have been out west here since the conquistadors left the gate open, seems they adapted quite well and the environment did'nt see much impact. Now come the "greenies" and the equine family is wrecking the environment.Seems the greenies must believe that equine has only been here for 40 yrs.Is it legal to convert greenies into fertilizer to help the environment? Very Happy

Close your ears Dusty!! A mule will not miss step as much as a horse does and they will not go places that a horse will let you lead them. A mule will balk where a horse won't.
