HELL NO! I mean c'mon, there's no WAY a bunch of inexperienced U.S. College kids can beat the mighty Russin Olympic Hockey team, right? Everyone knows that's a foregone conclusion.
Oops.
Lightning can strike anywhere. I do think McCain might actually have a better chance against the hildabeast because she's so polarizing and there are a lot of people who HATE her. Still, I don't mind sayin' that I'm really worried about the election this Fall. Over the next couple of months I'll probably have several thousands of dollars going out buying new firearms and magazines while I still can.

I'm hoping that McCain chooses a good VP candidate like the Alaskan govenor. This would make me feel better.
On the buying guns issue. I think it would be prudent to stock up on ammo. The constitution is supposed to protect our right to own guns, but it doesn't say anything about ammo. That's a scary thought. It might be wise to tool up for reloading if you're not already doing it.

Sorry to hear about your fire loss.
If you were a good socialist, traitor democrat you could blame Bush and FEMA for the fire, scream and cry like a baby until you were paid twice what it was worth, and although you weren't out of house and home or hurt, you would sue the insurance company for not building you a new house and paying you for life for a fake stress disorder.
Have a great day!

I hear ya! I'm also about as "right wing" as they come and I've never been politically correct in my life. My wife accuses me of thinking the Republicans are a bunch of liberals. Hey, if the shoe fits!
It goes deeper than that, but if we get into a political and/or social philosophy discussion, too deep, and socialist democrat might read our words and become emotionally scarred for life. I wouldn't want that on my conscience! He He!
That little episode in New Orleans should make the rest of us take heed. Anarchy is a scary thing. It can happen too easy.

Good folks up there in Ranger! That's at least five hours north of here.
Here are some comments that I wrote in another forum (here) that would fit in this category. If it sounds familiar or redundant, sorry.
Well, tomorrow's the Texas primary. My wife was down picking up her license tags for her car and this elderly man walked up and asked her where to go vote. My wife told him that he couldn't vote until tomorrow. He said that he has to vote twice in the Democrat Party or his vote doesn't count (It's not really like that, but the Socialist Democrat party has weird good ol boy rules). He then proceeded to tell her that he has to vote twice in Atascosa County and Bexar County (twice in each county), because he has a home in both counties!
I guarantee that they’ve registered the dead and the dogs to vote. Nothing quite like the Texas Socialist Democrats.
The conservatives better hold their noses and vote, or they're in real trouble.

I've seen bumper stickers that say "I wasn't born a Texan but I got here as fast as I could.
I think you both will fit in down here.
If you own a lot of guns and ammo, I know you'll do just fine down here. We love our guns!
Contrary to popular belief, this is a no bull shit state.
Like the comedian Ron White says: "We have the death penalty in Texas, and we use it. If you kill somebody down here, we will kill you back."
