Just to let you know what I'm thinking about for dinner tomorrow night mate.
OK Guys! Tell me, how "GOOD"!!! does this piece of Rib Eye(bone in) look??? "YUMMO"!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I do believe you are right Slim. There is nothing nicer than nice juicy field mushrooms, stalk removed, upside down on the hot plate, a goodly dab of butter in the cup with plenty of cracked black pepper...then let it slowly cook in its own juice. MMMMMMMMM

I offered to cook tea tonight for my brother and his wife. My sister-in-law said my brother likes a cut of meat, that he hasn't had for a long time, called a Viking Cutlet, so I said...JOBS ON.

My God...what a feed and a magnificent cut of beef. Apparently it is Scotch Filet with the bone in. My brother said he wasn't very hungry so he had the small one...630 grams (23 oz), and mine was 730 grams (26 oz). Methinks I'll be having this again.

good man....nothing quite as good as cast iron for cooking,see if you can find some masterfoods mild steak seasoning in your local supermarket spice section...its just the ducks danglies Mate.
I use a pan just like that to let steak etc drain after cooking in pan/skillet...have it just hot enough to sear nice lines onto meat.....stop it Im getting hungry.

I'll have a look tomorrow for that seasoning mate...it sounds nice.

Yes that looks mighty good too , but you,all keep this up and my fridg and bank account will both be empty.

I'm hearing you mate, it wasn't cheap. Those two steaks and a smaller BBQ steak cost $32, but damn it was worth it. Laughing
