Been using the NEET back tube for a WHILE. Cheap, bomb-proof, fits like a glove and I modified mine by cutting up a BEAR suede quiver, slipping on the lower part with the pocket (used fletch glue to stop the seams from coming undone), popped holes in it with 45 cases for thongs....ya know...

I like single strap hunting quivers- you can slide them under your arm for tight places, and, always find your arrow, and- there's NO chance of getting ran through from a broad head. This one has served for years and it will hunt.

It was time for an upgrade....love the "homemade" thingy but...meh...I had 50$ to burn so....

I got some Vintage leather made by KING back in the 50's off eBay, started to recondition it with Skidmore's, thought some new straps and off to the hunt with a super cool antique quiver....and boom- the pocket came off. RATS! The boot came out pretty well but man, this things a rotter and I'd end up chasing my tail, so I scrapped it- which is a shame, KING made killer stuff in the '40's!

Got my money back....then got a CAROL....$60, eBay.

Meanwhile...while I had the hammer out...I ventilated my arm guard.

Is there anything a .45 ACP can't do? Laughing

And, promptly poked holes in the new quiver...yeh, me 'n warranties- NOT. Laughing

This thing is SO cool- classic vintage lines, like it just walked out of the '50's!

Holds all my junk- and it's made from Buffalo so it should outlast me.

I have to say "nice", stovey. But I think they need to be modeled.

And I have a AR10. And I'm pretty good with it too.

Thought you had some shoveling chores to get done.
