I'm sorry to hear that Mike. I understand the "a loss and a blessing" from my experiance with my Dad a few years ago. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the kind words & prayers everyone.
Us three siblings & our Mum are made of pretty stoical stuff & we're getting by.
The funeral won't be until next week & that'll be tough.
Life as they say, goes on.

Condolences to you and the family.
I know what you're going through Mate. Lost my Dad in 1974 to liver cancer. He lived for 2 years and existed for 6 months. He was 52.
We must remember the good times and the great times.
