“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America ‘s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America ‘s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, “the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006 ~
Here's another sort of 'miss-quote' to say the least.
And then;
“So these investments — in things like education and research and health care — they haven’t been made as some grand scheme to redistribute wealth from one group to another,” the president said today at Florida Atlantic University. “This is not some socialist dream,” Obama added, as he called for tax increases on millionaires today to pay for those investments. As nearly as can be determined, the practice of replacing the ever-odious word “tax” with the acceptable “investment” started with that lascivious leftist Bill Clinton, who also famously wanted us to believe that oral copulation was not really sex, as long as it wasn’t his daughter who was the copulee.
Oh yeeah Al Sharpton sorta said sumptin stupid too!!
Sorry but I'm just gettin started, pollen is in the air, I can smell spring, I have a sudden urge to go fishing and shooting and sit in the grass. Dry grass that is...wet grass and you get up and have to pick your pants out of your bullet hole. Purple bullet hole. I learned that from Sara Silverman, she's so funny I can't stand it.
Anyways it's time to sweep the fir needles off the floor and open the doors and windows up for some fresh air. It was partly sunny today and had a high of 64 degrees...t-shirt weather!!! Sprayed the weeds in the driveway, found out my lawn mower doesn't self propel anymore, had to take it to the fix-it guy. Borrowed my neighbor's mower (not self propelled) and it took me about 1/2hr. longer than usual to mow the lawn. My yard is huge, didn't do the front yard.
Haven't seen Jon in months, it's been so rainy....no wait...there he is! It's the freekin long hair, I didn't even recognize him. He's gonna get an all over hair cut!! Even the evil bits. I love baby powder....he'd be so cool lookin if he NDNed up a bit. Sorta looks biker right now...scuse me I got some business to attend to...
the ever
so pleasant

Chime in you guys, there's lots of em out there, here's another one
Obama's secretary pays higher tax rate than he and first lady do. As Obama has persuaded much of the country by now, millionaires pay less than their secretaries, right? Thus, Obama contends we need the "Buffett Rule." “Middle-class families shouldn’t pay higher taxes than millionaires and billionaires,” Obama said Monday. “That’s pretty straightforward. It’s hard to argue against that.”
What color is your bullet hole?

Ok so while you guys play with your bullet holes, I've been lookin for more purple liberal lips (thanks StoveP) gone astray. Found one!
In regards to the Secret Service prostitution thingy....(you know I thought you said it was an even $50 and now yer sayin, after the fact, that you want $250)...just a little misunderstanding really, so here's what Obama says;
"If it turns out that some of the allegations made in the press are true, then of course I'll be angry," Obama said during a news conference when asked about allegations of misconduct that, according to reports, included involvement with prostitution. He added that his expectation is that U.S. citizens behave with "dignity and probity."
Yeah he said "If it turns out...blah blah blah..." Like he wouldn't really know these little national security snafu's would be all that harmful. Really he probably doesn't know. Prostitute spys, security agents feeling frisky, havin a few too many with the ladies, what would he know about it, it's all so innocent. Truly we would expect our citizens to behave with dignity and that other word that sounds like something you would do in your bullet hole.
So I guess the Secret Service is run by just ordinary citizens, when I thought they were more like special agents that took care of our national integrity, our currency and stuff like that. I thought it would be more appropriate for him to confess that we had a very serious breach in security and should have felt like his armed guards we all out partying instead of doin their jobs.
A source in the Secret Service told CBS News that one or more of the officers was involved with prostitutes and that there was a dispute over payment. One prostitute went to the police, who notified the State Department. "They don't have enough agents, they don't even put people through metal detectors sometimes because there's pressure to let everybody in," Kessler said. "It's like letting passengers in an airplane without putting them through metal detectors. They don't keep up-to-date with the latest firearms. They don't even do physical tests. So, it's a culture that leads to this kind of problem."
"President Obama keeps saying, 'I have full confidence in the Secret Service,'" Kessler (a Washington Post reporter) said. "You know, he deals with agents who are very admirable, so he thinks, 'Well, the Secret Service must be fine.'
When [Dick Cheney's daughter] Mary Cheney was under protection, she wanted her agents to take her friends to restaurants. Well, they're not taxi drivers. They are law enforcement officers, they refused, as they should have, but because of that she got her detail leader removed.
Well the agents knew she was gay.....WTF..
Oh and don't forget, they were in Columbia....don't they grow pot?
Erectorset

What happened to "what happened on tour stays on tour"
I personally don't delve; but theres a lot of blokes that obviously do because theres a heap of women out there (whoops and men if thats your taste) preforming this particular service, it's a user pays world and a democracy.....who cares! I agree Elvis.

OK so according to Obama and Buffett we need to tax the rich more.
Well, how about we just take it all, sc—w um, those darn evil people making more than a million a year how dare they.
That should get the Fed off our collective backs right, no more taxes for anybody but the millionaires.
Well, in 2011 the number of people earning an adjusted gross income of 1 million or more was 235,000.
So we take a million dollars away from them, let’s see how much our illustrious Fed can spend now.
235,000 times $1,000,000 equals $235 billion, wow that’s a big number.
Unfortunately the Fed spent $10.6 billion per day in 2011, so let’s see that $235 billion is gonna last, what only 22 ½ days.
So, who’s gonna cover the other 342 1/2 days?
I guess the Chinese have our back.

A few of you come from areas where prostitution is legal and seem to be ok with the idea of the Secret Service hitchin a ride now and then. Not on my money they don't!! Tax payers dollars at work?
Many prostitutes as well as non prostitutes seeking vital information for criminal cartels often seek out agents. Even transporting arrested females is a serious situation that requires many safety elements to prevent false allegations. One of our agents fell "prey" to a "hooker's" charms in Nogales, Arizona. He was on duty and was rightfully terminated.
Boys will be boys attitude doesn't apply when national security is at stake.
These men are not minimum wage security guards sneaking a pint of booze or a hooker on a job site. They represent the United States of America and should have integrity and basic common sense. Party time with prostitutes is never a free service regardless of the country. It does not matter if the person is an elected politician or a cop carrying a badge. Careers are ended by foolish behavior. No one is above the law or standards of conduct whether local police, the F.B.I. or the Secret Service.
Not my words, but my sentiment
So there
