What makes me feel old:

Most of my hunting buddies are either passed away or are in an old folk’s home eating pills as if they were peanuts. I went back to the factory where I was plant manager for 33 years and I did not recognize anyone. I take a nap after dinner. I am a little deaf, except when my wife calls me for dinner, than I have very acute hearing.

What makes me happy that I am not really old but just mature at 78 :

I am still alive and kicking. I fish, hunt and trap ( thanks to the ATV). I am presently getting ready for the moose hunting and the trapping seasons when I will be gone from home for a two weeks moose hunting trip and on my trap line with my younger brother for two months. That is until December 15, since I have to be home for Christmas with the grandchildren. Life is a dream and I enjoy it immensely, especially with the freedom that comes with retirement, and having nothing to worry about, except if there is enough cold beer in the refrigerator and weather I should reload more ammunition or do I have enough.

What a magnificent outlook on life mate...When I get to your age I sincerely hope that I have as good an outlook as yours. I look forward to seeing and hearing plenty more from you mate.
