|
My brother in law had this, since 1997 or thereabouts. Asked me if I wanted it. Since mine was a pile and I can't afford a nice or new one, I was very pleased to say yes. He won it in a raffle! It's in perfect working order and the optics are clear, not even any dust on the lenses.
Old school Bushnell Sentry, rubber coated, etc. Love the old school wrinkle-coat on the tri-pod. They eye piece has a killer screw-on cap that encapsulates the whole thing. Even has a peep-sight on the top.
Score!

Very Nice. Lucky you! That should save a few trips down range.

Heck yeh.
Don't have to rent them at the public range anymore either. Though I might still as it's only 4$ and they have a wango clamping system so I can get it pretty close to my seated position.
Funny part of this is my sis offered it too me over 3 years ago or so. "hey, ya want this old spotting scope we found in the attic?"
Do I?!
Then it kinda fell off the back burner, then, resurfaced all this time later.
Aint gonna go to waste now.
I'm stoked!

NICE Stovey. My "spotting scope" is the 10X - 40X scope on my .204
I shoot in my back yard, so I don't alarm anyone on a shared range by using a rifle as a "spotter".

No, used my roomates.
And, I used the "flower" thingy, too! At least I thought I did.
I aint that bright sometimes, cell phones and cameras are beyond me for the most part.
But- I did get lucky on this scope thingy- woot!
