She was 14 years old and was a standard 15" beagle. but i had her, her whole life. she run rabbits like she loved it. she NEVER Run trash, she was caught in a trap a few years ago and had to have a hind leg removed but that did not stop her from being the best rabbit hunting buddy I ever had.
Rest in peace Brigit. Sad
Thank goodness i have a few of hwer kids around to keep the tradition alive with my kids and grandkids. Smile

Sorry to hear about your buddy. Losing a dog is like losing your closest friend.

What?! Everybody's droppin round here! Sorry to hear that Crack! I'm glad you have a backup, but still it's not the ole pal you had. I lost my best dog when I joined the military. Mom wrote me a note saying my dog died of strep. while I was in boot camp. Actually it pissed me off more than anything and I blamed my folks. Got over it though and made my reparations with the parents....It's not fun. It's just life, hittin us in the face. Take care

Suz
