I stuck with a 40 as the mounts are being reused and that's saving me some money.

It is nice , except for the actual size, its rather large.
But I put it on a gun I never carry more than a few miles anyways.

If I am going to pack a gun all day in the bush, its usually my synthetic stock .308, as its lighter.

The bigger scope does gather light nicely though.
