Aloysius wrote:
for the people with a small dictionary: could you please explain the word "souse"? I know a lot of words starting with "p" and I do understand "spouse", but that's only half the joke...
so please enlighten me.

Gidday Aloysius...below is an explanation of the three terms, SPOUSE, SOUSE, P(ee).

SOUSE 1 (sous)
v. soused, sous·ing, sous·es
v.tr.
1. To plunge into a liquid.
2. To make soaking wet; drench.
3. To steep in a mixture, as in pickling.
4. Slang To make intoxicated.
v.intr.

To become immersed or soaking wet.
n.
1. The act or process of sousing.
2.
a. Food steeped in pickle, especially pork trimmings.
b. The liquid used in pickling; brine.

3. Slang
a. A drunkard.
(This is the meaning to which everyone is referring.)
b. A period of heavy drinking; a binge.

SPOUSE (spous, spouz)
n.
A marriage partner; a husband or wife.
tr.v. (spouz, spous) spoused, spous·ing, spous·es Archaic
To marry; wed.

Now...the P that Gelan is referring to is:

PEE 2 (p) Slang
intr.v. peed, pee·ing, pees
To urinate.
n.
1. Urine.
2. An act of urination.

As you may be aware...as us guys get older, we tend to "lose our P" because of age related problems we suffer.

Hopefully this will clear up any questions mate.

Cheers, Vince

Vince, if I could trust the postmen I would send you a box of Duvel.

And Duvel (which is a slang word for devill) is one of the belgian beers that helps to seperate the real men from the sissies Smile

maybe I can skip the postmen and do it the modern way,

so have a taste:

www.duvel.be/

and if this link is already bad for your ticker, better not visit their cellar...

Souse is a person who is intoxicated - more often than not.
"drunkard", "Practicing alcoholic", and "souse" would all be the same - more or less.

Trying to find my "older cow thing".....
Hmmmnnnn what does it look like?
Always needed someone to appreciate my older cow things.....
Maybe they're in my older cow thing holder.....nope...don't see em...
They in the fridge?.....nope, do need to get some milk tho.....hmm
I do have some much younger, rather magnificent cow things....but he likes the older,
they're probably somewhere more like waist-level sort of things.....don't seem to find any...
What would be so desirable bout them.....He probably likes his grandparents very much,,,,well very very much....eeoowww

Suz, did I misjudge something? In my opinion you should already know the cure for hanging things, this is after all the reloading ammunition section...
I'm getting the feeling that this thread will give a mod a very difficult time when he wants to clean it without laughing...

Well it's either the mis-mounted light bulb thingy or the old cow thingys and I'm tryin to find a cure for gravity? in my reloading manual? Dang this reloading stuff is harder than I thought. Bet you're glad to have me here to sort things out tho huh? Bout all I can do is sort. Seems I saw a thread on boisterous buttocks syndrome too, but I'm stayin outa that one all together cause it just doesn't seem to be in the manual either. And I looked too! Somewhere in the definitions section you can find ball powder and bedding and stuff like that and I'm always interested in that area of exploration so I figured you could find something on buttocks in there too...but nope.

jest cruisin roun
