Hey Vince

What's this about a hospital being shut after an invasion of redbacks?

news.theage.com.au/red...-281i.html

They sure did mate...cheeky buggers....but its only a small regional hospital. More like a Medical Centre than anything. I heard it on the news the other night.

Summer is Reback time over here, and it gets worse after a lot of rain....all the egg sacs have hatched and the young redbacks are now looking for a feed and somewhere to set up home. It always seems a little worse in the outback or country regions because of the climate and those that live in those areas tend to be a little blase about these sort of things. Around the cities, people are paranoid about things like poinsonous spiders....can't understand why....the spiders only have little mouths, so they don't eat much......no sense of humour some people.

Cheers, Vince
