Are these buggers aggressive or something? They seem a bit like camels to me...don't look at all aggressive or nasty.

From what I've read moose can be pretty aggressive during the rut. Not many here in NC (OK, so there aren't any at all) so I couldn't tell you firsthand.

Moose are aggressive not only in the rut but when they got little ones near them.

had a friend get treed by a bull moose she said.
bit aggressive

although while hiking in the Grand Tetons my first year here in Montana
(i know they are in wyoming..just keep up)
I sat and drew a sketch of a bull moose while he lay near the creek chewing his cud.
about a 50 yards away from me

that same year a few months before the adventure to wyoming
Tracker called a cow and her calf to come toward us and it made me back up closer to the car. had it in my head i would be having to do a starsky and hutch move over the hood to safety if she had charged, but she didnt.
think she was disappointed when she realized Tracker wasnt a moose.
was way cool though to see her and that calf come toward us.

As a rule of thumb, Mercedes are sold to doctors and BMWs to attorneys. That makes this a sad waste of a good deer who didn't take full opportunity to improve the average ethics of society.
