Has anybody bought a win. 9410 shotgun? Was thinking they may become a collectors item but I don't want to buy something that is useless either. If you have one would appreciate your opinions. Thanks
Don

I have an old mod 370 .410 made by winchester it taught me to shoot 30 years ago after most of rellies used it was used by everyone for all sorts pigs with solids bunnys and I shot my 1st duck with it using 3" #4s its now a bit sad as after I taught a neighbour to use it he plugged the barrel with clay on opening morning and tried to shoot a cripple without noticing with predictable results. its now ok for possoms up trees or real close bunnies. I will teach my kids with it as it dont kick at all and keep it for sentimentle reasons.I guess any .410 is a lot of fun and great to use with the right loads.

My friend has one that he uses to shoot skeet just for fun and likes the fact that it is unusual when compared to the usual run of guns at the range. He says that it functions fine after an initial break-in period to loosen the moving parts up.
As for collector status; I would imagine that in time anything with the original Winchester stampings might be worth something, but anything like that is a gamble. There is never any particular rhyme or reason to what a collector may want or how high the price might go.
