Obviously you have already been through this, why warn other men. No one warned me, let the others learn OJT, (on the job training).
The truly sad part is I am not sure that it ever ends once it starts, the hot flashes may decline or disappear but the personality and other changes seem to be permanent, at least to me. Some men think this is funny, but I don't think it is I want the woman I married back.
None the less the cartoon is very funny thanks.

Hello Lester, I am the menopausal wife of tikka. I completely agree that no one tells anyone what husbands or wives to expect at this very important time in both their lives. I can guarantee that your wife wants her old/new self back too. However, if you take the time to read a few good books on the subject and to talk to each other honestly when things are calm, I also guarantee that this stage of both your lives could be the most rewarding ones yet. Ours is not a society which values women, change or personal growth. Obviously you do care a lot about your marriage, and I applaud you for even mentioning menopause. Ask the questions and get the answers you both are looking for.
