.22 rimfire ammo

shotgun? I haven't heard anyone talk about shotguns or shot shells. I haven't bothered to go into any stores just to avoid the mess. Are shotguns and shot shells in short supply in the US from all this? I may have to stop into Cabela's on the way to the airport today.

I havent been in Cabelas in a few weeks, but all our other stores like Walmart and minor sporting goods are out of shotgun shells as well. Virtually all ammo is non-existant.

Lucked out this afternoon went to gun shop , just to see if they had some H 4895 powder, no were in sight.

But they had just gotten a UPS shipment of Federal .22 long rifles come in as I was standing to pay out, managed to get 2-bricks @34.95 each , Man I must be living right. Very Happy

The gun show here a couple weeks ago they ere going for $65 - $85 a brick and there was only just a few on the tables. Cheers

Another website I visit had a post that says the ammo shortages are expected to last another 9 months!.

A couple of months ago I was taking the mickey out of a mate of mine in the US for having 120,000 rounds of .22LR.....

....& 35,000 primers....

...& plenty of powder....

...& enough brass for a foundry...

...& lots of bullets.

I take it all back; he isn't paranoid - just prudent.

Smarter than some of us. Have a good stock-pile on most calibers , can always use more Cheers
