Surely a highly trained police officer would NEVER need more than seven rounds!

For the few that spray and pray this would be good. However, it's rather unrealistic to but law enforcement at a disadvantage to criminals that will not obey the law to begin with.

An amendment has already been made for LEO.

The bill now has been cracked.

The NY State Rifle Assn and the NRA and going for a class suit and a lawyer from Buffalo, NY is doing one too, pro bono.

So, if LEOs know that criminals will not obey the laws why are they penalizing the law-abiding citizens?

That's easy to answer Paul...Law abiding citizens are a soft target mate. The "system" knows that law abiding citizens will comply, consequently they can be seen to achieve something.

Well, this citizen is not going to be a "soft" target. I was reading some old stuff about the judgements of the Supreme Court today and ran across a decision where they found a man innocent who shot several LEOs who were trying to arrest him without a warrant. The judgement was that he had a right to defend his constitutional right with any force he felt was necessary.

Now, don't that open a can of worms for the guys who are coming to confiscate stuff.....
