Your machining work is magnificent DS...I cannot remember seeing work of this standard...ever.

I will be looking forward to your next batch of custom rifles with bated breath mate.

Sweet looking doe too...she will be there next season with some luck.

Cheers, Vince

I'm just now getting over a bad sinus infection and getting ready to get back in the shop again for my usual 12 hr. work days and thought I'd share some more pictures with you guys since you seem to like them...

We caught hese sand bass were caught a couple of weeks ago and they made for a mighty fine dinner...

I took a picture of these two deer right after cleaning the fish in the picture above...

This is Boo-Boo, my new "shop puppy". He is a registered cocker spaniel...

Boo-Boo and Polly, my other cocker spaniel...

These are "barrel stubs" waiting for a new barrel...

This was from last Christmas Eve and they are all still around. My wife counted 18 deer yesterday less than 75 yds. from the shop but before I could a picture of them, a pack of dogs came through and ran them off...

Did I show you guys my Ruger Super Blackhawk build? If I did'nt and you would like to see it, let me know and I'll post pictures of the build for you....

Nice feed of fish there mate. Those deer look very healthy...I'd say next season you will have no problems filling your tags.

Love the dogs mate...my wife always wanted a Cocker Spaniel but with the way we moved around when I was in the Army it wasn't really an option.

You need to "target" those dogs mate. A pack of feral dogs is every bit as dangerous as a wolf pack.

Thanks for posting the pics mate.

Cheers, Vince

Hi Vince,

those dogs were "targeted" and some won't be getting to visit here anymore...

The deer around here are very healthy. Two years ago when we had several feet of snow on the ground for weeks on end, I put out 100 lbs of Purina Goat Chow for the deer every day until there was visable ground again. It almost put me in the poor house but, at leaast the deer around here did'nt go hungry...

I'd give your wife one of my cocker spaniels if it were possible. They are really wonderful and I even use one of my cocker spaniels for bird hunting. This is Teddy Bear with a couple of HIS birds...

As far as the deer go, I'm not a "horn hunter" and these guys are still running around here on the property...

Is Boo-Boo brindled? I've never seen one like that before! Beautiful dogs there.

Thank you Elvis, I appreciate the kind words...

I have raised Cocker Spaniels off and on for over 25 years and people still ask me why I chose that breed over all others. Plain and simple, a Cocker Spaniel will love you back and their personality is as close to a child's as you will ever find. They are absolutely wonderful companions...

I have never seen a chocolate roan Cocker Spaniel before. Sounds beautiful! Do you have a picture you can share?

This is what our last litter looked like...

Do you have any idea how hard it was to take a picture of these guys? they just don't like to be still...

From my last bass fishing trip....... These made for some mighty fine eating too....

DS...Teddy Bear looks magnificent...if I was in the US I would take you up on that offer of a Spaniel (boy, wouldn';t that put me in the good books with SWMBO).

Glad to hear you are targeting those dogs...they can turn real evil real quick if left unchecked. The deer look beautiful and healthy mate, and no doubt they love you no end for the feed and protection.

You never cease to amaze me DS...gunsmithing, breeding cocker spaniels and feeding the deer in Winter...what a man. Very Happy Very Happy

Cheers, Vince

I caught this guy slipping through the pasture a couple of hours ago. He was putting a stalk on my guineas. I took him out at a measured 132 yds. with my wifes little 357 Maximum rifle...
