Had it all figured out was gonna spend the weekend at the range shootin the new savage 223 was gonna try some accubonds in the 7-08 but the weather is not being very reasonable suppose to get up to 3 inches before it's done sometime tommorow and 25 to 35 mph winds. So much for my weekend at the range . Guess i'll put in a hunting dvd instead. hope your weekend is better.

Hi Joe,
Raining up here today too. Of course I wouldn't have been able to get to my range anyway. There is still 18" or so of snow on my camp road. BTW, you mentioned Accubonds. Have you had good luck with them? I bought a box of .308's and .270's and when I weighed them to "batch" them, I was pleased at the weight consistency. The entire boxes (both) were within .2 grs of each other! Most other bullets I weigh vary by a lot more than that, but I have found that Noslers (including the partitions) have been remarkably consistent in weight. Has that been your experience as well? And more to the point.....how do they shoot? The only experience I've had with them so far was with factory ammo in my Encore barrels (that had a tendency to misfire), so I don't feel that was a good test. Thanks for your input.
Blaine

All that rain hit us as snow... weather guys say we have 500" of snow in the high country... which finally puts us back to an "normal" year.

Hi
I know what you mean about the rain. For the last 2 months it has been nice during the week and would rain on the weekend. Last night I told my wife that I wished this weather pattern would change. It did, last night we had a twister set down, missed my house by about 100 yards. We were without power for 18 hours. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.
