|
I received this today in an email. I'm not sure that it is as bad as suggested, but it certainly does sound suspicious.
Buying up American gun and ammunition manufacturers WOW! Should we worry...you bet!!!
WOW....I didn't know this.
For the last several years a company called "The Freedom Group" has been
buying up American gun and ammunition manufacturers.
Some of these companies are:
Bushmaster,
Marlin,
Remington,
DPMS,
Dakota A rms and
H&R.
DPMS Panther A rms
NEF
Dakota A rms
LC Smith
Parker
A A C
Barnes Bullets
EOT A C
INTC
Some people worry that Freedom Group is going to control most of the
firearms companies in the United States . Of course, If you control the
manufacturers you can decide not to sell to civilians, or, you can raise
the prices to ridiculous levels or you can make the supply of guns and
ammo scarce - all sorts of logjams.
What a perfect way to control America 's guns!
If you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned by a
Wall Street investment company called "Cerberus Capital Management".
"Cerberus" in the epic book "The Inferno" by Dante Alighieri, is a
three-headed demon hound (from Roman mythology) that guards the Gates of Hell to prevent those damned souls who have just crossed the river Styx ,
from escaping back to the world.
Investor GEORGE SOROS owns Cerberus!
Please pass this on to all your freedom loving friends. This needs to come
out - and quickly! Why have we not heard about this in the "mainstream"
media? I would think this would be BIG news.
The absence of big media coverage on this important subject should be BIG
news to you, too!

This is a false rumor that started earlier this year, even the NRA did an investigation on this rumor and found it completely false. In fact the guy Soros has never been a part of the company nor an investor. Click link below to go to NRA's web site.

Misinformation is used by every political stripe and interest group. Like the Salem witch trials, if you are looking for confirmation of what you already inclined to believe even innocent facts can take on an ominous vestige.
Want something to really be concerned about. Europe just went to the Chinese who have $3 trillion in currency reserves for help in bailing out their sorry asses. What do you think that is going to cost the free world?

MacD, here Van Rompuy did mention that number of chinese investments in the States. He was asking why it's now been said that the Chinese were buying Europe when nobody gave such comments about their investments of 7 trillion in America's government.

Aloysius:
I was agreeing with you. The fact that China owns a good chunk of the US national debt as well as other assets in the free world doesn't give me a warm comfortable feeling. I expect India shares the same disquiet. Of course the good thing about this is that it gives China a very good reason to support the value of the US currency.
China doesn't need an army to conquer the free world. By keeping the dollar high they keep the value of their investments, can undersell US manufacturing competition and, since the remainder of the world holds most of the rest of the US debt, they wield significant influence in many areas.

who are they going to use for a dept collector????
wait till they want it back and say" nah bro bugger off"
the whole we owe them and vise versa between countries is getting plurry abserd to say the least. how are they going to forclose??? or bankrupt???
I have limited experience in these matters but can remember the USSR paying the NZ dairy board for our cheese/butter etc with Lada motor vechiles. it was a win win as we got good solid reliable wagons to use cheapish and they got our product.
So does the Chinese treasury buy up US assets with thier dept???
I havent heard of it yet? any land/property for sale? heres some dept thank you very much, now lets send 50 000 people to live on it.

I did some research and this does a good job of explaining the China-US debt relationship. Warning, it is a pretty dry read.
