And here are what I machined out today.

Blade 440C
Frame Aluminum (will be titanium once I got the elusive metal sorted out)

Never made a folding knife before, this is my first one.

Damn, you knife making skills are going ahead in leaps and bounds mate. That folder looks awesome. It reckon it would look really good with micarta grip scales.

it looks a bit like the model my friend Filip De Leeuw made. His model entered the Spyderco program. I think when you let Mr. Google search for "deviant blades" you will find some nice examples.

And titanium is fun, but not while you're shaping it. It can also be coloured by heat and/or electricity.

by the way: Spyderco added a little lock-ball to Flip's model and the "hook" you use to open the knife has also the shape to open a beer bottle...
just offering some ideas...
but hats of for what you managed again!

LOL thanks guys.
Personally I never thought to make a folding knife, it was designed for someone that I thought to be a mate, but later on I found out that he is a no good charlatan bastard I posted about him on the ANZMI thread a few days ago.
Rather than discarding the design, I thought it would be fun to make it myself.

Vince, that scale is already textured.
subsequent work may have micarta or G10 scales.
