Now my longest shot, which is also my longest first shot kill, is at 630 yards on a rockchuck with my .243 AI. |

I killed a rabbit with a knife once. Killed a rockchuck last week at ~515 with my .243 AI. |

Trust me at 500 yards a pdog or rabbit isn't going to be able to tell if it was hit by a .204 or a .22-250. I never have been able to consistently keep the sight picture with a '250, but with my .204 ... |

My longest first shot kill is now 550 yards on a jackrabbit, with a .243 AI and a 87gr. V-max. |

Use shooting sticks, the first year or two I was calling I didn't have them, but after I got them my kill rate went way up.
